On May 4 – 6, 2017, don´t miss Resilient Cities – The Annual Global Forum on Urban Resilience and Adaptation, hosted in Bonn, Germany this year.

First launched in 2010, Resilient Cities is the global platform for urban resilience and climate change adaptation connecting local government leaders and climate change adaptation experts to discuss adaptation challenges facing urban environments around the globe and forging partnerships that could have lasting impacts for cities.

This year´s congress will focus on a variety of key topics, including local implementation of global frameworks, inclusive and resilient development, financing resilience, measuring and evaluating resilience implementation, holistic and integrated climate actions, and current and pressing issues for urban resilience and adaptation to climate change, such as cities applying risk transfer strategies and innovative reinsurance schemes, managing climate-related health risks and establishing resilient city-region food systems.
