DeLoG Newsletter No. 10
Please receive herewith the autumn edition of the DeLoG Newsletter. This is the 10th edition of this newsletter, yet another sign that DeLoG has established itself as an important knowledge hub and point of reference for issues on decentralisation, local governance as well as for aid and development effectiveness.
“In profile” we present Ed Connerley from USAID, one of our most experienced DeLoG members. We also want to use this opportunity to express our gratitude to Irène Salenson and Jan Willem Nibbering (French and Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs respectively) who have dedicated a lot of efforts to move the DeLoG agenda forward. We wish you all the best for your new assignments.
DeLoG will be represented at HLF-4 in Busan where our publication, that is currently being finalised, will be launched. Furthermore DeLoG will also be present at the European Development Days to be hold on 15-16 December. As reported the DeLoG/train4dev training course is now finalised and we have scheduled two events at the beginning of 2012. In September a workshop at GIZ in Eschborn, was held to deliberate on how to improve results and impact measuring of decentralisation and local governance interventions.
Please be advised that we have finally managed to purchase the domain www.delog.org that has been hosted in Russia before. For this reason the change of name took a while.
